Requirement of the Company
Door Security: They require a security system that mainly obstructs unknown person from entering the premises throughout all 7 offices countrywide. As more than 100+ people move in or out an initial inspection must be in place, such as identifying the person at the door before providing permission. Therefore, they need a door security system that comes with a video feed for each of their reception.
License Free Central Audio/ Video Communication: With more than 1500+ user requirements, internal communication, and cost management has become a challenging task. An easier, more efficient, and cost-effective method is in demand. Reaching everyone out easily from the desk conveniently is a priority as well.
Call Center: Having clients all over Bangladesh, Navana Real Estate is always striving to maintain regular communication with them for which uninterrupted call center service is a must. On top of that, reaching out to potential customers through call communication is also a key factor in developing the business thus creating the need for clean and clear calling devices with smooth service for the long term.
Video Conferencing Solution: Amidst the pandemic, movement is restricted, and having regular internal and external meetings can be difficult. They are looking for a system that will help them conduct meetings remotely from one office to another and also with clients from within and outside the country. The system also must have the capability to manage multiple people at the same time in the same room with low noise and clear feed.
Why We Provided This Specialized Solution
The client requires a control center with video feed and security at the gate. The GSC3570 is a powerful intercom and facility control station, while the GSC3610 is a simple yet clear IP camera. Both devices support motion detection, smart infrared technology, and 1080P feed, allowing receptionists to easily monitor activity and access the door through an internet connection.
The company requires multi-level communication for internal and external purposes, primarily between employees and customers. A license-free solution, combining a centralized UCM 6308 with IP phones, ensures efficiency and uninterrupted communication. With over 1500 users, it manages voice, video, data, and mobility communications platforms. The Wave app enhances functionality and portability.
The text describes the use of different IP phones for communication purposes, ranging from basic GRP2601 and GRP2602P for basic calls, to more advanced GRP2612W for mid-level users with color display, BLF keys, and dual-band Wi-Fi support, and the GXV3350 for heavy users with a large full-color display, camera, and Android support.
Finally, for the meetings, a video conferencing system with a range of balanced features is suitable for the need. The GVC3220 can handle a medium-sized meeting room while providing a clean and clear audio/video feed. Multiple people can attend the meetings in the same room and can talk without interruption due to its advanced features that ensure a great meeting experience. A total of 3 units were installed in 3 offices, those arranging meetings frequently both internally and externally.
Our Process of Deployment
Firstly, we resolved the security part at the door. We install one unit of GSC3610 of the 7 office main gate. Determined the perfect angel through multiple live inspections and fixed the position of the camera there. It is then connected with the Network Switch which gives it the ability to provide feed live. As this is for the receptionist’s view, and he/she needs an easy viewing angle with less clutter, we discussed with the receptionist on the placement. We placed the GSC3570 at the most suitable places according to the comfort of the 7 offices.
For the communication part, a bigger layout was required. Having 7 offices with around 800 users including a call center means proper wiring and connection. The centralized location of all the IP Phones is Navana Head Office, where we installed the UCM 6308 and ensured that the power is never interrupted as this is the core IP communication server. We set up 200 IP Phones at the Head Office, while 100 each at each of their branches. All of them are connected to the main server at the head office. Every single phone then is connected with Network Switches to keep them online. Cabling was done in a manner that it does not create any visual or physical obstruction. From there on, a unique extension number was distributed to each of the users.
Finally, for the video conferencing Solution, we invited a few meeting participants to understand how they would position themselves and held demo meetings to determine the noise and best field of view. We determined that GVC 3220 fits perfectly with the meeting environment. Placed it at a height that covers all of the attendees while capturing their audio perfectly.
Summary
This multi-level communication project helped Navana Real Estate ensure security at the door through live video feed efficiently and entry of unauthorized persons. The communication network established with various ranges of IP Phones connected with the main UCM solidified their internal and external communication with minimum delay and better quality. Through the video conferencing device, GVC 3220, now they can carry out meetings with minimum travel and contact saving both money and valuable time.
