The year of 2019 is the 55th year of Family Business of Royal Group and the date of 6th January 2019 was the 20th Anniversary of Excel Technologies Limited (ETL).
On this occasion, Excel Technologies Limited celebrated the Anniversary at its branches and regional locations across the country in a befitting manner on 05 – 06 January 2019. In addition to cake- cutting and sweet distribution, ‘Meet the Press’ and ‘Open House Exchange of Greetings’ were organized separately. Representatives of business stakeholders, corporate houses and media & mass communication attended the functions.

Royal Group begun its adventure in the year 1964 as a small trading business house ‘Royal Stores’ in Noakhali established by The Late Horkishore Saha. ETL, it’s one of the sister concerns, has stayed at the forefront of ICT in Bangladesh for 2 decades giving a wide scope of solutions & services for many the best nearby and renowned organizations.
On the excellence of 55 years of family business and two decades of Excel Technologies Limited in IT business, a ‘Meet the Press’ was organized on 05 January at Dhanmondi Club in the capital. The event started with paying tribute to Late Horkishore Shaha. Anchored by ETL Executive Director Birendra Nath Adhikary, the session was attended by company’s Managing Director Goutam Saha, Executive Director Chief Operating Officer Masud Hossain, Chief Finance Officer Mohammad Mahmudul Hoque, Head of Credit Control Tulshi Kumar Saha, System Analyst Aninda Saha and Key Account Managers of Excel Technologies Limited. More than 40 representatives from different press & media houses including Members of Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF) attended and participated at the meet-up. Majahedul Islam Dhew of Daily Ittefaq, Kawsher Uddin Mahmud of Sangbad, Hasan Zakir of Samakal and Washiqur Rahman Shaheen of Tech Zoom on behalf of the Journalists spoke & expressed greetings & well wishes to Excel Technologies Ltd.
On the occasion, Gautam Saha told, “We’ll be one step ahead in innovating intelligent techniques, tools, technology and services, since this is the era of innovation and technology that created prodigious changes. Later in the evening on 05 January, a delegation composed of Executive Director Birendra Nath Adhikary and Chief Operating Officer Masud Hossain from Excel Technologies Limited met the Executive Committee of Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) at their office in Gulshan to exchange greetings with flower bouquets, cake and sweets. ISPAB President M.A. Hakim, Secretary General Md. Emdadul Hoque and other EC Members greeted the ETL Team.
In celebration of the anniversary, an ‘Open House Exchange of Greetings’ was organized on January 06 at the head office of Excel Technologies Limited at Dhanmondi, Dhaka. On this occasion, the company headquarter becomes the epi-center of the festival. Representatives of business stakeholders, corporate houses, financial institutions and press & media houses attended this jubilant event to share the joy. Among many others, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity Engr. Subrata Sarkar and its Central Executive Committee Members greeted the best wishes to Excel Technologies Limited.
Aside the conglomerate’s Headquarter, the 2-day celebration took place at its all branches in the capital city as well as other cities of the country.
